In this meeting of the Subcommittee on Technology and Auditing, Election Reform Commissioners Scott Doyle, Mark Baisley and Paul Hultin engage in a far-reaching discussion among themselves about the future of Colorado's elections. Doyle and Baisley extoll the merits of electronic voting, while Paul Hultin tries to place the discussion in a historical context of how we got here since the enactment of the Help America Vote Act in 2002. The recording gets hot around the 9-10 minute mark, through 24:00 and beyond.

The Colorado County Clerks Association invited the Election Reform Commission to their Winter 2009 Conference at the Pueblo Convention Center. Normally, public interest groups and citizen watchdogs are not permitted inside the Colorado Clerks Association meetings. However, the Election Reform Commission is subject to Colorado Sunshine Laws. So, democraticwing.org acquired the recording of that portion of the clerks' gathering.
